Akdoğan is the largest town in the Mesarya region. The village, formerly known as “Lisi”, was renamed “Akdoğan” by its new residents in 1974 by combining the “Ak” from the village of
“Akıncılar” and the “Doğan” from the village of “Aydoğan”. The
people of Akdoğan are known for their hardworking and produc-
tive nature, which contributes greatly to the economic balance
of the region. Even if you only live
there for a short time, you will feel
like you have been there for years. Its proximity to the Beyar-mudu border crossing and Ercan Airport, as well as its status as a deployment force unit, make Ak-doğan a high-potential work-force area and a preferred choice for investors, including many Turkish banks.
